Israel is home to some of the coolest startups in the world! Some smartphone apps we all use, such as Waze, are Israeli. Here are a bunch more you may have not heard of. From saving lives to speed phone charging and drone delivery, Israel’s hi-tech and app industry is flourishing, more than ever before!

1 Nexar

This company created a smartphone app that “sees” beyond drivers’ line of vision and warns before collisions occur. The free app is both community based and AI (Artificial Intelligence) based, meaning it gathers information from other drivers and simultaneously analyzes the road ahead. Several sensors and cameras gather information and can give you details such as cars braking ahead, or reconstruct an accident to serve as proof. Download Nexar and help make the roads safer!

2 Cimagine

This startup allows companies to provide an augmented reality experience to their customers. This way, when selling furniture for example, your potential buyers can test out how it will really look in 3D before finalizing a purchase. This option will help people visualize the product and decide whether or not to buy, or where to place it. This company is revolutionizing interior design! Check out their website for more interesting info and a bunch of videos on how it works!

3 StoreDot

This amazing startup is breaking new ground in the phone-charging department: creating batteries for computers, phones, and cars that will charge almost instantly. Moreover, the technology lengthens battery life! StoreDot has designed a brand-new battery to replace the commonly used design, allowing for super-fast charging.  In fact, one of their products on the market, FashBattery, can charge a smartphone in only 5 minutes! 4 MUV Interactive

MUV Interactive’s product, called simply “Bird,” will surely make everyone’s lives simpler. Just slip the small wearable device on your finger, and instantly transform any surface into a smart-screen. The wall, your desk, or the floor could all serve as the screen of your smartphone or computer! The Bird can change the way we live, in classrooms, at work, and at home: we are no more limited to a physical phone or computer. The world is our screen! Be sure to check out their website for more.

5 Flytrex

Whether you are a delivery company, a photographer or filmmaker, or just a hobbyist, Flytrex has the perfect drone for you! The drones incorporate the best and most powerful technology, yet are as simple to use as a child’s toy. A Ukrainian delivery company is using Flytrex drones to deliver parcels and packages, a test project that will determine whether drones will replace other delivery techniques entirely. Find all the different drone types on the Flytrex website.
