The Israel Defense Forces would do anything for the land and people of Israel, and of course for its own soldiers as well. That’s why the medical corps and the C4I corps are working to develop a military smart watch: it measures the soldiers’ vitals in real time. The watches will be worn by the soldiers in the field and send information to a smart phone, allowing the medic to treat the soldiers quickly and efficiently.

The watch will keep track of vitals even after the incident, allowing the medical staff to stay on top of changes to the soldier’s condition. For instance, if the field medic takes action, the watch lets the rear medics know the soldier is being treated. The system will document all details of the incident automatically, which frees the medics to care for the soldiers.

Ranking the soldier’s conditions from light to critical enables the medical staff to prioritize and potentially save everyone. This brilliant and life-saving invention, expected to be deployed in 2019, will give medics far more medical information on their soldiers than ever before.

We think this is amazing news!
