Yom Kippur is the Jewish day of atonement. A day where we confess our mistakes, repent, make amends, and forgive others. It requires a lot of mental strength. It isn’t easy, but forgiveness will free you from resentment and guilt which tend to drag people down. In fact, they are completely counterproductive. Bettering your relationship with your loved ones, G-d, and yourself starts with absolution.
